Introduction, participants are immersed into an interactive history lesson of our Everglades and how we have changed it over the last 150-200 years.
Airboat ride, investigate the Everglades as it exists today as well as conduct bird identification and various water quality tests just like a real wildlife biologist in the field.
Nature hike, get a chance to experience some of the secrets the Native Americans knew about the plants and hydrology of the Everglades.
Lab, investigate treasures found in the Everglades and use clues, deductive reasoning and observations to identify what they are.
Animal Exhibit, observe various reptiles and determine which are native and which are exotic. You might even get to have an encounter with one of them... you never know what a day in the 'Glades will bring!
The Everglades Excursion takes place at the Science Eye pavilion area in Water Conservation Area 2A & 2B in Broward County, Florida at Sawgrass Recreation Park (1006 US-27, Weston, FL 33327)

If your group has a special grant, area of study, or something specific that needs/wants to be covered, please let us know when scheduling and we may be able to arrange the schedule and accommodate your needs.

Panther – 3 hours includes an introduction, 60 minute airboat, exhibit, nature hike and lab ~ min of 15 & max of 25 participants (if 15 or more of the participants are 4-17 or HS 18, then 2 adults free)
4-12 y.o. ~ $52/
13-17 (18 if HS) ~ $58/
18+ (Adult) ~ $64/
Hawk - 2 hours includes an introduction, 30 minute airboat, exhibit, nature hike and lab ~ min of 15 & max of 25 participants (if 15 or more of the participants are 4-17 or HS 18, then 2 adults free)

If within 60 days of first scheduled date: $650
