Our field program has been designed for fourth grade through college.  The all day experience uses a hands on, inter-disciplinary approach which includes data collection from our airboat, a trek across a saw grass prairie, a laboratory analysis of collected invertebrates and more! 

By airboat, we collect water samples, determine pH and investigate the "magic carpet" of the Everglades!

Walk across the saw grass prairie community...experience the teeth of the saw grass for yourself!

Net invertebrates, then identify them to create a living food web!

Over 100,000 students have participated in our unique Everglades Experience.  Since 1985, students have come from as near as South Florida and from as far away as Missouri to spend the day with us in the Florida Everglades ecosystem.  Whether your curriculum is biology, ecology, habitats or Florida, this is one study you will never forget!
